On The Recruit!

Teessiders are on the recruit to help build on the 2015/16 success!

The Teessiders is a vets’ team affiliated to Stockton, however I have tried to include players from clubs around Teesside.

“Victoria per Usus et Amicitia” is our motto on the team coat of arms. “Victory through Experience and Friendship”.

The motto is at the base of crossed hockey sticks, behind a picture of a locomotive which is now at Preston Park Museum. It was built at Head Wrightson’s works. This rests on the uniting feature of the team, the River Tees.

We play in Norton’s Summer League from week beginning Tuesday 10th May-22nd June.

Players wanting to keep ticking over, but not in their club’s summer team will find a place.

We also enter a team in the EHA O40s Trophy.

For this competition, players around the age of 39 would be particularly welcome.

If you are closer to 49 we may consider entering the O50s if enough players show an interest.

If you are interested in playing, or umpiring, or know of others in your club who fancy a competitive run out, please get in touch here!
