Stockton welcomes junior players of all ages and abilities. Whether your child is completely new to hockey or already has experience, we have opportunities for them to get involved. Anyone from age 5 and up can train with us.
No. Many of our players start as beginners. Our sessions are designed to help children learn the basics, develop confidence and enjoy the game.
For their first sessions, children only need comfortable sports clothing, trainers and a drink bottle. A hockey stick can be borrowed.
As players continue, they will need appropriate hockey equipment including a stick, gum shield and shin pads.
Junior training takes place at Egglescliffe School between 6-8pm for over 13s, and Yarm School on a Monday Night at 530-630pm for 5-13 Year Olds which provides excellent facilities for developing players.
