The Men's 2nd XI plays a vital role within Stockton Hockey Club, providing a competitive environment for players looking to develop their game while competing in high-quality league hockey. Bringing together experienced players and emerging talent, the team provides an important pathway between the junior section and the Men's 1st XI.
Competing in North East Division 1, the team has enjoyed an impressive rise in recent seasons. After securing promotion the previous year, they followed it up with an outstanding third-place finish, recovering from a slow start to put together a remarkable 15-match unbeaten run.
That success also saw the team make history by reaching Stockton Hockey Club's first-ever Senior National Cup Final at Tier 2 level, highlighting the strength and depth within the squad.
Building on the momentum of recent seasons, the Men's 2nd XI heads into the new campaign with ambitions of challenging for promotion while aiming for another memorable cup run.

Scott Kennedy - Manager & Captain
Scott joined Stockton Hockey Club from Billingham over 10 years ago and has been an integral part of the club ever since, representing both the Men's 1st XI and Men's 2nd XI during his time at Stockton.
Beginning another season as both Team Manager and Captain, Scott leads with infectious enthusiasm and a genuine passion for the game. His commitment and energy have helped create a close-knit squad, inspiring those around him and playing a key role in the team's recent success.
